Podcast: What’s Up Bainbridge:
Superhero music LIVE at BSO’s April Concert

Come dressed as your favorite superhero and listen to the theme music from Batman, Superman, Star Wars and more at the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra concert April 14 and 15.

BSO Music Director Finalist Tigran Arakelyan

The Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestra will perform two pieces side by side with the BSO, and young cellist Carson Ling-Efird will be performing movements II and III from Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto #1.

In this podcast you’ll meet BSO music director finalist Tigran Arakelyan, who’s been directing the island’s youth orchestra since 2015. Tigran, who is an Armenian American, shares his own notions of superheroes and tells us a bit about his passion for community orchestras.

All in all the concert promises to be a delightful event; don’t miss it! For tickets and information, and a special guest post from Tigran, visit the BPA website at https://bainbridgeperformingarts.org/collections/bainbridge-symphony-orchestra-classical-series-2017-2018/products/bso3-1718.
