KiDiMu and Helpline offer community service projects for kids

Looking for community service opportunities for your family and kids? KiDiMu and Helpline House are sponsoring a joint food bank volunteer activity called KiDiMu in the Community: Helping at Helpline House, June 8 from 10:30 – 2.

In this podcast, BCB host Christina Hulet sits down with KiDiMu’s Executive Director, Susie Burdick, and Education Director, Lauren Henry, as well as Helpline House’s Executive Director, Maria Metzler, to talk about how this event and the Helpline House Summer Helpers program can help parents build community connections and raise their children to be active contributors to the world around them.

KiDiMu is also hosting its annual anniversary celebration, Play Day at the Museum, this Saturday, June 1 from 10 – 4. Play Day features a family fun walk, arts & crafts, fun performances and all for $1 admission. Register in advance at Play Day at the Museum to get your free KiDiMu parade t-shirt.
